Our 2009 Frontenac Rosso is sourced from 100% Minnesota grapes originating from Deardorff Vineyards on our property and Wild Mountain Vineyards near Taylors Falls. We treated this wine in the style of a Rose; pressing it off the skins immediatly after harvest to create a lighter version of Frontenac Wine. The finished product still carries the character of the Frontenac grape with cherry and black cherry notes and a spicy character unique to this grape variety. The lighter color with this deeper character make this wine a treat for the palate. This wine was finished in stainless teel to allow the fresh fruit notes to remain with the wine.
